That was the most interesting thing I’ve read so far this year!! Some people just dont understand how sucked into their devices they reeaally are! I like my devices and all of course, but sometimes its just like ” okay im done with u” And its so refreshing. But then I start noticing everryyone connected to a device of some kind, especially with their headphones. Its too much! Kinda makes me sick. Like if I were to yell out ” Come on everbody! Wake up and smell the roses!” No one would even hear me, might get a glace or two. But everyones is so shut into their own little irrelevant worlds, dissconnected from reality. Tragic

u r the COMMIE i would like to bring home and introduce to my MOMMIE,,sorry bad pun-rhyme (or PRYME) u can thank greg gutfeld’s charming sense of humor for the inspiration on that one,, anyhoo,,, i almost never comment or contribute to anyones blog or website, but i really do appreciate your insight on matters of state/government/society, of course i dont agree with all of your opinions, but you have a refreshing viewpoint on just about every subject i have ever heard you comment on. it is very difficult to find voices that are comprehensible amongst the din of agenda-driven diatribe that gets thrown about and passed off as news/ free exchange of information ,in our digital society.
i only know you from red eye appearances, so i thought you might like to get some feedback from that,,,, but be strong my pinko-liberal-aclu-lloving brother!

I proclaim the rest of Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 “turn off my technology day.” It’s time to break out my notebook and pen, see if I can remember cursive, blow that film of dust off my mapbooks and see where yesterdays roads lead to today. It’s time to make time to touch that soft, and silky fabric that covers lovers and mothers and all folks who walk around breathing, and talking and laughing, without plastic burning into the palm of their hands.
